Academic Collaborations
At the Community Nutrition Forum, Kerala (CNF), we see academia not as an institution, but as an ecosystem — where ideas evolve, evidence strengthens, and every collaboration nurtures growth.
Through meaningful partnerships with universities and global research bodies, CNF Kerala continues to build a future-ready community of dietitians grounded in science, ethics, and empathy.
Bridging Science, Skill, and Service
Named after the Greek word meaning “to do something with soul, creativity, and love,” Meraki reflects our philosophy — that research, when pursued with heart, can change how the world understands nutrition.
Each month, CNF members come together to analyze, discuss, and interpret recent scientific literature across clinical, community, and behavioral nutrition.
Meraki doesn’t just review studies — it cultivates a culture of critical thinking, evidence-based discussion, and shared learning.
In this space, young dietitians find mentorship, professionals find dialogue, and research becomes a shared rhythm of growth.
Low FODMAP Training Initiative
CNF Kerala has also entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JDT Islam College, Department of Food Technology, marking a milestone in our commitment to academic synergy.
This collaboration aims to foster student mentorship, research training, and hands-on exposure in the evolving fields of food science and nutritional psychology.
Through this partnership, CNF bridges classroom learning with community application — preparing students not just for employment, but for enlightened engagement in the field of nutrition and public health.
We take pride in turning collective learning into literature.
