FOOD EDUCATION WEBINARATHON 2025
FOOD EDUCATION Webinarathon 2025, led by CNF Kerala, was a month-long public nutrition initiative that brought science-backed dietary education to life. Initially hosted as Zoom sessions for selected members, the program was later telecasted on YouTube for wider public access.
Covering 30 diverse topics, the series addressed everything from diabetes, hypertension, and heart health to autoimmune conditions, cancer recovery, and nutrigenomics. Each session simplified complex diet therapy into practical, culturally relevant guidance. Special focus was given to life-stage nutrition — from pediatric and adolescent diets to pregnancy, lactation, and geriatric care. The program empowered viewers to rethink food as medicine, debunk fad diets, and understand food–drug interactions. With expert-led discussions and real-world strategies, FOOD EDUCATION 2025 became a landmark in public nutrition awareness.

Food Education Webinarathon 2024, organized by CNF Kerala, was a landmark initiative to bring practical nutrition knowledge to the public. The month‑long program featured expert sessions on critical health topics, beginning with nutritional management during pregnancy and gestational diabetes, ensuring safe guidance for mothers and babies. Attendees gained clarity on fad diets, weight management, and the role of balanced nutrition in diabetes care. The series highlighted the powerful link between diet and sleep, as well as nutrition’s role in preventing and managing Alzheimer’s disease. Special focus was given to PCOS, hypertension, and childhood malnutrition, addressing challenges across life stages. Each session simplified complex science into actionable advice, empowering families and communities to make informed food choices. The outcome was a stronger public awareness of how nutrition can prevent disease, improve quality of life, and support healthier futures.

Community Nutritionists from Kerala led a powerful public webinar to raise awareness on food, diet, and disease prevention. Topics ranged from Lean Diabetes and the Four Pillars of Diabetes Management to the role of millets and mindful living in controlling blood sugar. Experts explored how diet and exercise can reverse pre-diabetes, and addressed nutritional deficiencies often overlooked in diabetes care. Sessions on gestational diabetes, senior citizen care, and PCOS/PCOD brought inclusive, life-stage-specific insights. Natural remedies were discussed with scientific balance, highlighting both benefits and limitations. The event empowered attendees with practical, culturally relevant strategies to prevent and manage diabetes through food and lifestyle.

Low FODMAP Training Initiative:
Partnering with Monash University, we facilitated discounted Low FODMAP certification courses. Kerala now boasts the highest number of FODMAP-trained dietitians, with over 130 completing the program.
